One of the best parks in Western Sydney.

We have loved going here as a couple, then as a family and with friends alike. Kids, adults and a few furry friends have all loved this park. It truly offers something for everyone!

Things we love about this park:

HUGE PARK: This park is spread across over 200 hectares, the area is vast with beautiful landscape with native bushlands and vast areas of grassland.

PICNIC SHELTERS: Picnic shelters are often occupied, so if you have a special occassion , we highly recommend you book in advance! the picnic shelters can accomodate anywhere from 45 upto 90 people! https://www.westernsydneyparklands.com.au/book-a-venue/shelter-bookings/

MULTIPLE PLAY AREAS: There is Water play, Flying Fox, huge Sandpit, Climbing Tower, Cycle obstacle course and so much more for kids to do.

WALKING TRAILS AND CYCLING TRACKS: Some beautiful loops. The best part is the trail is pretty flat which makes it very kid friendly. The loops are good – so can plan a short or a long run/ride to suit you and your family. Great for Prams too! The tracks are well maintained.

OFF LEASH DOG PARK: A designated park that is at Warrigal Run is an off leash park for dogs at Bungarribee Park.

LANDSCAPE: Scattered Native trees and vast grasslands make for scenic backgrounds.

SPORTS PLAY DATES: The well-maintained sports fields are very inviting to those who love a game of cricket or soccer.

COMMUNITY EVENTS: There are plenty of events here for the community that anyone can attend. You can always follow the Park’s website to keep up to date with the events that are happening. https://www.westernsydneyparklands.com.au/things-to-do/whats-on/

PHOTOGRAPHY OPPORTUNITIES: We have heard that if you are lucky, you might spot kangaroos and native birds. The native flora and fauna also make for some fantastic photo opportunities.

FINAL WORD:

This is a great park for so many things and we highly recommend going here. We enjoyed spending the day here. Although we must say that there is no Coffee Kiosk at the Park that we have ever seen- we did see an Ice Cream van! So make sure you plan for the food and drinks. Although the Supermarkets are not too far.
